Char Restaurant requires $500 deposit to confirm the booking. This amount will be deducted from the final account and is non refundable should the client cancel less than 7 days prior to the function. The final payment is required at the end of the event unless pre-approved for invoicing by Char head office prior to the event.
Final numbers are required 48 hours prior to the event. Charges will be based on the confirmed number of guests or the guests in attendance at the event, whichever is the greater.
Confirmation of food and beverage menus, extra equipment and entertainment details is requested 7 days prior to the event, including any dietary requirements. If you or any of your guests have any special health requirements, or may be allergic to any food of any description, the onus is upon you to inform us in writing before the function and to introduce that guest or guests to us on the day of the function. Char Restaurant accepts no responsibility in circumstances where, due to health requirements of any guest, it cannot reasonably meet that guests requirements. Failure to notify or introduce such guests shall be deemed to be notice to Char Restaurant that no such requirement exists.
Prices quoted are based on the availability of menu items and are therefore subject to change, however we will notify the client of any such changes prior to the event.
Minimal breakages and cleaning is expected during and following an event, however the client is liable for excessive breakages or extensive cleaning of the function area which may be required due to the behaviour of guests during or following a function.
Char Restaurant staff are industry trained, all possess an NT Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and are obliged to serve guests within these guidelines. Overtly rowdy or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated by Char Restaurant staff.
If bad weather or other factors could possibly affect the function area, the event co-ordinator will make an executive decision regarding the relocation of, or change of details to, the event, in order to proceed with the event safely and with the comfort of the guests in mind.
Char Restaurant takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of guests’ property.
GST is included in all prices, unless otherwise stated. Char Restaurant reserves the right to increase prices at any time.
